God is Alive and Working!
In a world filled with uncertainty, it’s easy to wonder if God still sees us or if He’s truly active in our lives. But the good news of the gospel is this: God is alive, and He is working — right now, in your life and in the world around you.
God is Not Silent
There are moments when heaven seems quiet, when prayers feel unanswered, and when life feels heavy. Yet Jesus reminds us in John 5:17: “My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I too am working.” Even when we don’t see immediate change, God is moving in the unseen. Silence does not mean absence. Waiting does not mean neglect. God is always faithful.
Biblical Reminders That God is at Work
- Joseph’s Story (Genesis 37–50): Sold by his brothers and forgotten in prison, Joseph could have thought God had abandoned him. But behind the scenes, God was preparing him to become a leader who would save nations.
- The Israelites in Egypt (Exodus 3): After years of slavery, God raised up Moses to deliver His people. What looked like centuries of delay was actually preparation for His perfect plan.
- The Cross (Luke 23–24): On Friday, it seemed like all hope was lost when Jesus died. But on Sunday, God revealed His greatest work—resurrection and victory over sin and death.
Each of these stories proves that God works in ways beyond what we can see.
How God is Working in Your Life Today
- Through Delays: That “not yet” may be God’s way of protecting you from something you can’t see.
- Through Challenges: Trials strengthen our faith, shape our character, and draw us closer to Him (James 1:2-4).
- Through Everyday Moments: Sometimes His work isn’t in the dramatic miracles but in the quiet provisions—breath in your lungs, favor in opportunities, love in relationships.
What Should We Do While God Works?
- Trust His Timing: Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” God’s clock is never late.
- Stay in Faith: Even a mustard seed of faith can move mountains.
- Keep Praying: Prayer keeps us aligned with His will and opens our eyes to what He’s doing.
- Give Thanks: Gratitude helps us see His fingerprints even in small things.
Final Encouragement
The God who split the Red Sea, raised the dead, and still moves mountains is the same God who watches over you today. He is not a distant God. He is not finished with your story. He is alive, active, and weaving everything together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).
So take heart—no matter how things look, God is alive and working!
